Painting the school blue!

On Tuesday, October 17th, Carson High School FFA and Leadership Programs  worked together to paint the light poles in the student and teacher parking lots blue. We broke up into groups and tackled every light pole that was pre-painted. There were 9 FFA members and 5 leadership members present. We did this because beautifying the school is something that both of these Programs are passionate about and it makes the school look much nicer. We decided to work together because both Programs are trying to empower future leaders and expand their Programs. We also have never worked together before and we thought it would be a good idea to bring two programs that encourage leadership together. I am the committee chair for the leadership committee and I was very happy to work with the Leadership Program. I feel like we got a lot done in a short amount of time and I had a lot of fun doing it.
